Covid-19 Response

To our valued theatremakers,

Thank you for bearing with us during this trying time in our industry. Broadway Media has taken the appropriate measures to secure the safety of our employees and the ongoing health of our business. Therefore, you may have noticed a change in the way we interact with you as our office is currently closed. Please do not be alarmed – we are still here for you – it may just take us a little longer to help you. For the duration of the closure of our office, we are not able to answer phone calls. Please email or live chat with us to reach a licensing representative.

Over the past few months, we have faced the heartbreaking reality this pandemic is imposing on our longtime producers. Our ancient culture of storytelling is intrinsically, beautifully human – you can’t subtract the audience, the creatives, the administrators, the technicians or the performers without this outcome. It’s with this in mind that we recognize our fortune in not being dependent on populating houses and the cost of having our stages dark in the coming weeks.

Broadway Media is working diligently to make sure we can respond to your questions and inquiries. We know there's more to do. Over the coming months, we will be actively assisting in the recovery efforts. We have gathered some information that we hope will help clarify our policies and inform your decisions moving forward. Please continue to check this page for updates to our policies and recovery efforts.

We are aware of your concerns, rest assured, we are doing everything we can to work with you and accommodate during these trying times. For groups who have cancelled their production, and already notified us in writing and completed the above mentioned form, we will be pleased to process their request timely fashion upon the re-opening our office.

The following conditions are approved for production originally planned for March 1st - June 30th.

  • If you are cancelling an order prior to your rental period, please complete this form. We will provide you a credit of the same value on your account through June 30, 2021. For digital orders, if your production choice has changed, you may use your credit to access an alternative digital product to meet your new production needs. In all instances, we want to work with you to find the most beneficial solution.
