Million Dollar Quartet Scenic Projections
As “Million Dollar Quartet” tells the story of a fateful December night in 1956, BMD’s projections perfectly encompass the vibrant energy of a bygone era.
Entirely set at Memphis’ Sun Records, the show focuses on a pivotal moment in American music, when Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley – the Million Dollar Quartet – performed together in a jam session for the history books. BMD’s scenic projections carefully recreate the exterior and interior of the iconic studio. Our scenic design even pays special attention to incorporating realistic artwork for the time.
As the storyline crosses rock ‘n’ roll, gospel, R&B, and country musical genres, our content dazzles audiences with unique lighting and special effects for every song performed in the show.
Our projections were designed to keep up with the thematic changes required by the storyline. As the genre changes, our design follows along comfortably, allowing for the ease and speed the plot demands. Simply put, our projections are the perfect backdrop for this show.
