In the Heights Scenic Projections

Overall, projections bring a cinematic element to the theatrical medium. By enhancing theatrical productions in these ways, scenic projections create a more engaging theatre-going experience for audiences of all ages, allowing them to be absorbed in a truly stunning delivery.

Modeled after the 2008 Broadway set design, our scenic projections for the musical “In the Heights” features gestural and gritty illustrations to match the characters of the storyline. A multitude of colors are used throughout the scenic projections, representing weather, the time of day and the overall mood of the show. This series stands out amongst our products as the most differences in coloring from scene to scene.

Scenic projections for “In the Heights” offers a great alternative to a full-set design, but can also be used as a backdrop replacement. The style of our projection series is perfect to create a large-scale backdrop by using a rear-projection setup. A unit or platform set works very well in front of these projections, which are particularly effective in smaller spaces.

Scenic projections provide theatres with an incredible capacity for visual expression, creating a tangible piece of drama in which the mood of a show can be conveyed effortlessly to the audience.
